Cette année nous avons un nouveau principal qui s’appelle Mr DASSY .

Nous avons environ 40 professeurs pour 595 élèves.

At school, study several languages like: Latin, German , Spanish ,English and French .                                            Inès

In the 5C, we have got 12 teachers.

Mrs Beaupuis is our headteacher.

Mrs Sabourin helps Mr Dassy.

Sports at school

In year eight , we play basket ball , practice struggle fight, dance and gymnastics . At the moment we do medium-distance. I am very sporty and I love rugby.

I ‘m good at sports at school .Ewan

My sport is football and I always play football but I sometimes play tennis table and run.

I like sports at school. I like basketball, meduim distance, and struggle and sometimes I play with my dad in the garden in summer.

desk 3 The clubs

Nous avons onze clubs:

Zumba, jardin, lecture, géométrie, robotique, théâtre, presse, échecs, aide au devoir, calligraphie, zen. PACOME

There are many girls at the zumba club.

- Activities are during the lunch break .

Where do the students go while they are at the secondary school?

The 3° go to Spain,  the 4° go to Germany, England and Italy, the 5° go to an open air  week and the 6° go to Paris.

Desk 5 the chief education adviser and his team of supervisors: their job

The C.P. E. (the chief education adviser): His job is to manage the discipline and the conflicts at school. His name is Mr. Abin.

Le CPE: (conseiller principal d’éducation) son travail est de faire respecter la discipline et de gérer les conflits. Son nom est Mr Abin.

The supervisors make sure the pupils respect the discipline.  They keep an eye on the students, deal with their comings in and out ,  register the pupils who eat at the canteen and  they manage absences. They are six: Chloe, Myriam, Simon, Anthony, Isabelle and Michael.

Ils veillent à ce que les élèves respectent la discipline. Ils gèrent les permanences, les entrées et sorties, ils font l’appel pour manger à la cantine et ils gèrent les absences. Ils sont six: Chloé, Myriam, Simon, Anthony, Isabelle et Michael.

desk 6 The FSE

The F.S.E. (foyer socio éducatif in French) is a funny place because we can play a lot of games.  (example: billard, baby foot… )

It is a place where students come to play : babyfoot…and they come to have a good time. Two students in each class represent the FSE.

Desk 7 The library :

We can reads books, and we can complete our homework.

Nous pouvons lire des livres, et nous pouvons compléter nos devoirs.

We can tidy books.

Nous pouvons ranger les livres.

We can go on computers.

Nous pouvons aller sur les ordinateurs.

The books are never tidied at the library…

desk 8 The 5C timetable

Dans la semaine, nous avons trois heures d’anglais, c’est notre seule langue vivante pour cette année mais certains élèves ont choisi de pratiquer le latin qu’ils étudient deux heures par semaine. Notre collège fonctionne en semaines A et B : c’est à dire qu’une semaine sur deux nous avons la semaine A puis la semaine d’après, la semaine B. Toutes les semaines A, nous avons cinq heures de français et les semaines B, nous en avons que quatre heures.

In the week, we have got one hour of music. We have got  one hour of civic education too.

We have got three hours of sports divided into two ( one hour and a half on Mondays and one hour and a half on Thursdays ). We have got one and a half of biology, of chemistry and physics and of ICT.

Nous avons aussi quatre heures de mathématiques en semaine A et trois heures en semaine B et nous avons deux heures d’histoire/géographie. Nous avons à peu prêt deux heures par jour pour manger et certaines personnes ont du soutien pendant une heure le jeudi.
